cape hatteras Fishing Report

hey everyone! fished at cape hatteras today and it was kinda cloudy but still a blast. we hit the water early around 6, and the temp was perfect, like 27 deg. caught a few nice speckled trout and even a couple of flounder! used some gulp baits with a light jig, and it was on. the wind picked up later but we just leaned into it and kept casting. got a little wet but it just added to the fun! saw some dolphins too, which was just awesome. we wrapped up around 3pm with enough fish for a great dinner. can't wait to get back out there! 🎣
