11 mile Fishing Report

so we hit up 11 mile this morning, and wow, it was super overcast but honestly felt kinda nice with that breeze. temps were around 22C but the wind was wild, like 46km/h, had to hold onto my hat lol. we started fishing about 6am when the sun was just coming up. brought my trusty spinning rod with 10lb test, and a bunch of different spoons in my tackle box. it took a bit to find the fish, but eventually i switched to a blue/silver spoon and BOOM! I hooked into a solid 2lb rainbow. felt amazing! after that, we got a few more bites, landed another rainbow and a small pike. we didn’t catch a ton but the scenery was gorgeous, and just chillin by the water was so worth it. we packed up around 1pm, definitely gonna come back soon. tight lines everyone!
