helmsdale Fishing Report

fished at Helmsdale today, july 4th. got a bit of patchy rain but it didn't stop us. caught 5 salmon, biggest was around 7lbs! used my trusty fly rod with a black and silver streamer, they were hitting it pretty hard. the wind picked up later in the day, but we found a nice spot sheltered from it. felt awesome to be out there, even with the weather trying to spoil the fun. sunset was beautiful too, perfect way to end the day. can't wait to go back!
