deal Fishing Report

yo, went to deal this mornin' and man, what a mix of weather! had patchy light rain and some thunder, but we didn’t let that stop us. i got out there early, around 4 am, and tossed out my new spinner rod with a light jig. fish were bitin' a little slow at first but after the rain eased up I pulled in a beauty of a cod, about 4 lbs! used my favorite green squid jig which always seems to do the trick. wind was chill but only a light breeze so it was bearable. ended up catching a couple more smaller ones, but that big cod made my day. nice and fresh for dinner tonight! 🌧️🎣
