farmoor reservoir Fishing Report

so much rain today at farmoor! weather was horrible with strong winds and temp dropped to 5.9 degrees. didn’t expect to catch much but surprisingly hooked a decent carp! the rain was relentless, but at least I got a fish to show for it. wild day!

went back to farmoor and it was even nicer! sunny all day, temp at 13 degrees. caught a bunch of small pike, nothing over 5lbs but they were fun. used a bright red crankbait that the fish just couldn't resist. definitely going back soon!

what a beautiful sunny day at farmoor! temp was about 11 degrees, but felt warmer. landed 4 decent perch using a light jig! got really lucky with the wind at 21.6 km/h, it was just right. these fish were biting like crazy, had a blast!

fished at farmoor on a gloomy overcast day. the temp was around 12.5 but it felt colder with the wind. only caught one bass but it was a solid 5lbs! got it on a soft plastic worm. overall a chill day, would’ve been better with more fish tho!

tried my luck at farmoor, even with patchy rain possible, ended up catching 2 decent carp around 4lbs each. used sweetcorn for bait, they were nibbling like crazy. it was a bit damp and cool at 11 degrees, but luck was on my side. can't complain!
