hawkridge reservoir Fishing Report

headed out on the 25th, patchy rain was annoying! caught nothing but had fun with the crew. wind was wild like 32.8 km/h. we just had a laugh and enjoyed the scenery. next time, we’ll catch more!

went back to hawkridge on the 22nd, kinda overcast again and colder at 13.7°C. the wind picked up too, felt like 24km/h. managed to snag a big old catfish! really made my day!

the weather was a bit moody today. patchy rain at hawkridge, but I pulled a nice 3 lb trout! used a little jig and it worked wonders. a bit slippery though, but worth it!

finally got some sunshine at hawkridge on the 18th! beautiful day, around 12.8°C. tuuuurned out great, I got a 4 lb bass on a topwater bait. just couldn’t stop smiling! perfect day for fishing.

fished this morning, pretty overcast again but air was nice at 10.8°C. had a strike on a crankbait, but it got away! then caught a small trout, so that was cool. better luck next time, right?
