slave lake Fishing Report

another gorgeous day on slave lake, sunny and warm. i got lucky with a big pike, probably 10 lbs! was trolling with some blue and silver crankbaits, they were just smashing it. great way to end the weekend, feeling super grateful!

finally some sunny weather! caught a nice mix of walleye and pike, biggest was around 6 lbs. used a wacky rig and it worked like a charm. the wind was a bit much at times but hey, who cares when the fish are biting right?! gotta do this more often!

fished slave lake again, had some patchy rain but it cleared up! brought my son along, he caught his first fish ever! it was a little pike but he was so excited, priceless. used a crankbait, they were biting pretty good. love this place!

went out for a few hours today, got a light sprinkle but it didn’t stop the fun. caught a bunch of perch, nothing huge but they’re tasty. used a simple bobber setup with worms. shoulda brought a raincoat tho! lol. until next time!

didn’t expect much with all the rain today but decided to go out anyway. ended up getting soaked but caught some decent trout! 3 nice ones over 2 lbs, used spinners and they really liked the gold one. fish were biting good in the showers!
