lake nipissing ice Fishing Report

oh man, the weather was weird today, kinda drizzly. still tried my luck tho. caught one small walleye, maybe 2 lbs, but that was it! used a spinner bait but nothing else was biting. oh well, that's how it goes sometimes. still a nice day out on the ice with friends!

today was a total washout with the rain, but still went out just to try. caught 1 pike, nothing special but was fun. the rain made it super slippery on the ice, but surprisingly i didn’t fall! also saw a couple other anglers out there. we expect better weather soon tho!

partly cloudy and warmer today! got on the ice around 8 am. we hit a sweet spot and caught 6 nice crappies, all over 1 lb. just using a simple jigger with wax worms. the wind was light so it felt perfect out there! ice was starting to melt a bit, made me nervy but we stayed safe.

overcast day today, bit chilly but went out anyway. met up with some buddies. we were drilling holes for hours and finally found a good spot. ended up with 5 bass, pretty decent size! used a green and yellow lure, was killer! caught a decent buzz too lol. love fishing days like this.

today was cloudy but warmed up a bit. finally had a lucky day! caught 4 nice perch, biggest was around 1 lb, all on a small jig. if it wasn’t for the wind, it might have been a perfect day! ice still holding strong though, which is great. can't wait to go back!
