skeena river Fishing Report

back out again in the rain and wind, skeena was rough but I pulled in a nice 9 lb king! used a bright orange lure to catch his attention. ended the day soaked but with a big catch, so no complaints here!

man it was pouring out there! still managed to catch 2 cohos tho, they were biting well despite the downpour. using some heavy tackle cause of the wind. was a challenge but worth it! love the skeena

hit the skeena again, rain was not fun but hey, fish don’t care about weather right? got a 5 lb pink and missed a few more bites. used a white jig this time, they seemed to love it! gotta keep trying in the rain

went to the skeena yesterday and man, was it chilly! caught a couple of sockeye, they tasted amazing! best part was fishing with some buds while it was overcast, didn’t matter tho. we were using some spinners, worked like a charm

what a day, it rained on us while we were on the river but I got lucky! landed a nice 8 lb chinook, felt like a beast! my dad got one too, he was using a green flasher, it worked great. good times despite the rain
