manitoba Fishing Report

sneaked out for a few hours in the evening, weather was partly cloudy and nice! caught a couple of decent sized catfish. used stink bait, they seem to love it. was chillin by the water, felt relaxed for sure. perfect end to a busy week, can’t wait to go back!

man, what a difference a week makes! sunny day, went to my secret spot and it was on fire! got 7 bass in a few hours, all decent size too. used some soft plastics and they just couldn’t resist. felt so good soaking up the sun while reeling in some good fish! best day in a while!

yikes, it was cold and wet today, hardly any bites. tried my luck with some nightcrawlers and bobbers. only got a couple small ones, nothing to brag about. the wind made it a tough day out there. still nice to be out, but bbrr it was chilly! gotta check the forecast next time.

what an awesome day! went to the lake and it was all about bass. with the warm weather, caught 5 good ones, biggest at 5lbs! used topwater lures, they were smashing it like crazy. clouds rolling in but it didn’t dampen the fun. had a great time with friends, can't wait to go again!

finally got out today! was a bit overcast but I didn’t mind, caught a few nice trout, nothing huge but 2 good eaters around 2lbs. used a fly rod and some streamers, they were active in the shallows. felt great to be out on the water again!! summer is coming!!!
