lake erie perch Fishing Report

went out on a partly cloudy day, perfect weather for some perch fishing. got a dozen, biggest one was 1.8 lbs. had my trusty spinner rig with me, they were all over it. teamwork made it fun, my buddy caught a nice one too. can’t wait to do it again!

not gonna lie, took a chance with the rain today but it paid off! caught a few nice perch, biggest was 2 lbs. used my favorite green and yellow jigs. felt like the fish were in a frenzy, we had a blast! soaking wet but so worth it!

finally got some sun! fished from dawn till noon and got a solid 20 perch all around 1-3 lbs. total adrenaline rush reeling them in! kept it simple with some worms on a hook. loved every second of it, lake erie is the best when it’s sunny!

wow what a day! went out despite the rain and ended up with a nice haul of perch! probably caught around 18. they were biting like crazy! got soaked but it was worth it. used my classic yellow jigs, they were irresistible for sure. staying optimistic!

man today was rough! went out in the overcast and almost got blown off the water, wind was too much! only snagged 3 perch, all under a pound. spent more time trying not to capsize than actually fishing. guess i'll try again when it warms up!
