elk river Fishing Report

ugh, another rainy day at the river. hooked a decent fish but lost it again. rain messes with the visibility. temp's dropped a bit. got a few nibbles tho. better luck next time i guess. bring on the sun!

overcast day at elk river but still got a few bites. caught a couple small trout, just under 2 lbs each. used my favorite fly rod and some dry flies. it was chill but nice to be outside, i missed fishing so much!

man what a wet one!!! went fishing on the river despite the heavy rain. only caught one small rainbow around 1 lb, but it was a fun challenge. my gear got soaked, but hey, that’s fishing right? can’t wait for the sun to come back!

went out to elk river, it was partly cloudy but warm. caught 2 hefty browns, one was 4 lbs! used a crankbait in the deeper spots, they were hitting hard today. couldn’t believe my luck, perfect way to spend the day!

just came back from elk river and wow, the fishing was lit!! sunny day, temp was nice at 16C. hooked a big one, felt like a 5lb rainbow. lost it at the bank tho, ugh! using a spinner last time i checked. going back tomorrow for redemption!
