cold lake Fishing Report

finally sunny again! clarity was perfect for fishing. caught 5 nice walleye, they were really active today. used live bait and a bit of patience. such a fun day on cold lake, didn’t wanna leave!

yikes it poured today! but we braved the rain and caught some decent pike. went with my buddy and we used topwater lures. it was a wet but exciting adventure, fishing in the rain is different!

went fishing today, had some rain but it was light. caught a couple of smallmouth bass, very feisty! used crankbaits, they were lovin it. not the best weather but still had a blast!

a bit overcast today but still managed to catch a few nice trout. used a fly rod with a small black nymph. they were hittin the surface every now and then. it was kinda chilly but worth it!

hot sunny day on the lake today! i finally caught a big one, a 6 lb walleye on a jig! sunny weather and calm winds made for a perfect outing. feeling lucky – may head back tomorrow!
