western port Fishing Report

Hey everyone, went out to western port today despite the gloomy weather. It was overcast and pretty chilly, hovered around 10°C but we didn’t let that stop us. Got there just before 8 AM, launched the boat and went straight to my favorite spot. Used my trusty soft plastics, the ones that mimic baitfish, and boy did they work! Caught a few decent snapper, around 40-50cm, and lost a couple at the boat which was super annoying. The wind was light, so it was nice for drifting. Tried to time it with the tide but honestly, just felt lucky. Overall, a fun day on the water even with the clouds. Gonna try again soon for the bigger ones! Cheers!
