mitchell river Fishing Report

cloudy day today and windy but still got out there, best part was bonding with my mates. caught 2 nice yellowbelly, used some old school bait- yabbies! weather was okay, fish were biting. felt good to be on the water!

hit mitchell river today, was overcast but actually felt better than expected. caught 5 bream using a softshell crab lure, they were hungry. lost one big one tho – so mad! but good vibes overall and i had a blast.

yesterday was wild!! patchy rain made it hard to fish, temp dropped a bit too... but i still caught a decent flathead! 45cm - not too shabby with a vibe lure. I love the thrill of the hunt, even in crummy weather!

headed out to mitchell river again, perfect sunshiny day, but it was chilly! only managed to catch one small perch... hit on a soft plastic. slow day but still enjoyed the peace out there. oh well, next time!

Sunny day on the river yesterday! fished from dawn, temp was nice at 15.9C, caught a couple of nice cod, biggest was a solid 2kg. used a topwater popper, they went crazy for it! love the thrill of the catch, man!
