lakes entrance Fishing Report

cloudy skies today, went for a few hours. not much happening but did see some jumping fish. tried a few different lures but nothing really worked. still nice to be out there, looking forward to better weather and more fish next time!

today was wild! heavy rain all day, but we still went out. couldn’t find many spots where fish were biting tho. ended up catching just a few small ones, bream mostly. probably should have stayed home lol but hey, any day fishing beats work right?

another day out at Lakes Entrance, weather not so great. patchy rain made it tricky but i managed to reel in a couple of decent yellowbelly! also lost one big one at the boat, ughhh! used my trusty spinner, always works when it’s rainy!

wow today was a perfect day! bright sun and no wind at all, just ideal conditions. we took the boat out and hit the deep water, got our limit of snapper! all around 1 kg each. used soft plastics, they were hammering it. can’t beat sunny days fishing!

went out with my buddy this arvo, rain was patchy again. we caught a few small perch but nothing too exciting. tried different spots but only got a bite or two. might need to try earlier in the day next time
