tradewinds depoe bay Fishing Report

woohoo! sunny day at Tradewinds! finally! hit the water early and got me a 6 lb salmon! felt like a tank! used a herring rig, all the other boaters were jealous haha. we stayed out till sunset, just perfect vibes. oh, and I finally tried out my new tackle box too, sweet setup! what a day!

rain kept me away for a bit, but it finally cleared today! bright sunny afternoon and the fish were biting. landed 5 small halibut, all around 2 lbs. used a grubs and had some jigging fun. the sun was shining, felt like summer! took some cool pics, good vibes all around

another overcast day at tradewinds with some decent wind. came home with a good haul of 4 flounders, around 3 lbs each! used some squid as bait today, it worked wonders. feeling pretty pumped about that!

ugh,... another rainy day! went out anyway with my rain gear. caught a couple of nice flatfish, like 3 lbs each. wasn’t easy because of the wind, but i got lucky on a spot where they were biting. gotta love the thrill! brought a couple home for dinner. yum! hope it clears up soon tho

light rain today, but I went anyway. got 5 really nice cohos, biggest was 6 lbs. used shrimp on my new reel, which felt smooth. still damp but it was fun! can’t wait for the next trip!
