devils lake ice Fishing Report

what a wild day! thunderstorms looming, but managed to catch a few decent size bass, around 3lbs. it was a bit sketchy with the weather but the fish were hungry! used a topwater lure that was just killing it. adrenaline was pumping!

not great fishing today... patchy rain and cold air. only got one small walleye and some snacks! not what i hoped for but sometimes ya just gotta enjoy the day out there even if the fish aren't biting much. better luck next time!

went out again, same spot, another sunny day. caught a couple of decent perch, around 1.5lbs. the weather was perfect but the fish were a bit slow... still, can't complain when you're out on the lake soaking up that sun!

wow what a day! sun was shining, 24 degrees and I ended up catching a massive 5lb walleye! used a shiner under a hot pink bobber. had a blast, the wind was a bit much but it made the fish active! def gonna remember this trip!

sunny day fishing! managed to land 3 nice crappies around a pound each. used a little jig with a waxworm. took a break for lunch and enjoyed the warm sun, just loved it. catchin fish and chillin, what more can ya ask for?
