melbourne beach surf Fishing Report

fishing in the mist today, it was spooky but cool! caught a small snapper, about 30cm, wasn't expecting that! used light tackle, and it felt great. a bit eerie but the thrill is always there. what a day!

another cloudy day at the beach, but that didn’t stop the fish from biting! hooked into a couple of dart, and one was 40cm! using squid strips for bait. felt good to be out there, felt the sun peeking through the clouds too!

cloudy day but the fishing was solid! caught a few tailor, sizes around 50cm, using a heavy surf rod and some pilchards. they were really active near the rocks! had a bit of wind, but didn’t bother us much. awesome!

hitting the beach again, not much rain but pretty humid. i caught a nice 45cm salmon! used a metal lure, made a few good casts, and bam! nothing like the rush of a good catch. loved it!

went fishing with my mate in the patchy rain today, but it was okish with the temp beeing warm! caught three bream on the sand, they were biting like crazy! using a light rod with a simple float setup. good times!
