little river Fishing Report

heavy rain again! what’s with the weather? went out anyway and got skunked sadly. saw some fish jumping but they wouldn’t bite. just sat under some trees waiting for it to let up. could really use some sunshine next time!

light rain didn’t stop us! actually made it cooler on the river. caught a few bream and a small striper. mostly just enjoyed the peace and quiet, chill vibes. my buddy got one that was 5 lbs, that was the highlight. used spinning gear with worms

partly cloudy day, nice temp, took the kayak out on little river. caught 4 sized speckled trout, biggest was 3 lbs! used a jig head with a soft plastic tail. they were hitting early before the sun came out too much. great day on the water!

so today was pretty alright, overcast again. caught a couple small bass but nothing crazy. tried using a popper and some chatterbaits but they were kinda finicky. it was warm though, and just nice being out on little river

went out on the river despite the rain! it was pouring at times, but finally got a good bite. managed to reel in a 7lb catfish, felt awesome! using a medium rod with stink bait, worked like a charm. we got soaked but totally worth it
