leech lake ice Fishing Report

fishing in the fog was an adventure! spent the morning out on the lake and caught a few nice perch. couldn't see much but felt some good bites! used a soft plastic and it was working. weather was pretty mellow, even with the fog. gotta love leech lake!

cloudy day but nice for fishing! got 2 decent crappies and a couple of small perch. used a black and white jig, seemed to do the trick! the wind was calm, which was a nice change. felt relaxed just sitting there waiting for bites. perfect way to unwind after a long week.

went out during moderate rain, and it was chilly! still caught a few nice sunnies. used a small bobber and worm combo that worked well. had to keep moving to find em though. felt good to get out there, just gotta embrace the wet and wild! hope for better weather next time.

man it rained sooo hard today! but I still managed to hook a few bass before the storm got too crazy. had my rain gear on, but everything was still soggy lol. hooked 4 and lost a couple at the hole but hey, that’s fishing right? gotta love the heavy rain sometimes.

today was a wet one! caught a nice pike in the morning before the heavy rain hit. had my trusty rod, the one with the 15 lb test, but after that it was a struggle. everything was soaked and we had to pack it in early. still, that pike made it worth it! can't wait to get out again.
