lake superior Fishing Report

another patchy rain day, but hit the lake anyway. got lucky with a few smallies, around 12-14 inches. tried out some new lures and they worked. really fun to be out there, just me and the water. looking forward to more fish adventures ahead!

it’s cold and kinda wet. didn’t expect much but got lucky with a couple of nice lakers after waiting out the rain. they went after my white tube baits. been worse days on the water for sure. just glad to not get skunked!

back to the lake and man, it started pouring outta nowhere! i only got one good bite, a small walleye, but the wind was insane. decided to pack up early. gotta love those unpredictable spring days. oh well, there's always tomorrow, right?

what a day! sunshine everywhere! spent the whole day on a boat with my dad. we caught a bunch of perch off the rocks, like 15 total! i used a pink jig and they just couldn't resist! perfect weather, good laughs, and my first fish fry of the season! yay!

i hit the lake again, still cloudy and a lil' windy. managed to reel in a couple of pike, first one was about 28in! used a live minnow. it's getting better out here. the chill is in the air but the fish are getting active. let's hope for more sun soon!
