gulf shores Fishing Report

another rainy day in gulf shores and we decided to try again. windy but we went out, managed to hook a few sheepshead. used fiddler crabs on the bottom. nothing too huge but they put up a good fight! always a good time out on the water, no regrets!

rain kept teasing us today but we gave it a shot. went out on the boat and after a while, we started reeling in some nice trout. used a mix of lures and live bait. ended the day with 6 keepers! love the challenge of rainy days, makes the catch even better.

hit the water early today, it was overcast. didn't think we’d catch much but wow! the fish were biting like crazy. got 8 nice snapper using shrimp rigs. biggest one was 4lbs! couldn’t have asked for better fishing conditions. definitely going back out tomorrow!

fishing trip was lit today! the weather was nice, little patchy rain but we still got out on the boat. caught a nice bunch of grouper using jigs. they were hungry, especially around the rock structures. ended up with 3 keepers and the biggest was about 5 lbs! what a thrill!

thought we’d try our luck today since the rain was patchy. fished off the jetty with my buddy. only caught a couple of undersized flounders but felt good to be out. had the gear ready with 10lb line and live bait. maybe next time we’ll hit it right. still a nice day!
