hit the river again, cloudy but better than last time! caught a few small catfish, nothing huge but they’re fun to reel in. brought my spinners which seemed to work better. all in all, good day on the water!
ugh, what a washout today, rain all day and it ain't cool! only caught one tiny perch, so we left early. coulda been a better day but hey, sometimes that’s how it goes. brought my rain gear at least!
tried again the other day after that rainy spell, it was still kinda wet but managed to get into some good fish! few hours in the morning and caught 5 bass, all around 2-3 lbs. used a texas rig with some dark colored worms. such a vibe!
got out on the river today again, rain was off and on but i was determined. brought my trolling setup and ended up landing 3 decent walleye! not bad for a rainy day! around 18 inches each. they love that chartreuse jig i got.
man, what a mess today! heavy rain kept pouring down while we were out on the river. managed to catch a couple smallmouths but they were skittish. used a crankbait but wasn’t really working. ended up soaked but still kinda fun!
