chippewa flowage Fishing Report

finally got a break from the rain on may 21st, but still chilly! spent a few hours trying for bass again, but only got a couple little ones. guess the weather's just not on our side right now. better luck next time!

may 20th was rough. like, heavy rain all day. didn't expect much but wow, we got skunked! no bites at all. just sat in the boat, soaked and cold. gotta love fishing though, we laughed it off.

went out on may 16th, but man, the weather turned bad. some rain hit us and the wind was wild! only managed to catch a couple small crappies. we packed it in early and called it a day. hope next time is better.

OMG, may 13th was EPIC! fished all day under the sun and caught a bunch of bass, like 6 or 7 nice ones! biggest was a 5lb largemouth. used spinnerbaits and kept switching colors. such a blast!

had a decent day on the flowage on may 10th. was mostly sunny, but not too much action. only pulled in 1 pike about 4 lbs, but it was a beauty! used a topwater lure early morning, but they just weren't biting good.
