canyon ferry Fishing Report

hey folks! hit up canyon ferry today, what a beautiful day out! sunny and warm, about 20 degrees, perfect for fishing. got there bright and early, around 6am, and the lake was like glass. I used my trusty spinning rod with a white and blue crankbait, and boy did it pay off. caught 5 trout, biggest was around 2.5 lbs! released them all back but wow, they were fighting hard. few people around but we had our spot all to ourselves. even saw some eagles flying around, what a sight. all in all, great day! can't wait to go back and do it again. cheers!
