mitchell`s bay Fishing Report

back at the bay this week, patchy rain but still had a blast! caught some smaller perch and a couple decent bass. used my trusty spinner, can't go wrong with it. weather wasn’t ideal but still a good day out fishing with friends!

overcast day, fished mitchell's bay with some pals. caught a ton of small fish but didn't care, we were just vibing on the boat. used light tackle so it was fun feeling them tug. temp was a bit chilly but we had good laughs!

hit the bay again today, rain was off and on but who cares! landed 3 solid bass, biggest was a 5.5 lb beauty. using a topwater frog, got them early morning as the sun was breakin'. a lil wet but tons of fun!

fishing was great after some rain, caught my biggest fish yet! 6 lb catfish on a sunken log! used stink bait and it didn't take long. weather was partly cloudy and the temp was nice. didn't wanna leave, but we had to before dark!

tried my luck at mitchell’s on may 7th. overcast skies, kinda chilly. but ya know what? I got a nice 4 lb bass! using a jig'n'pig combo, it hit hard! caught a couple smaller ones too, all released. can't wait to go back on a sunny day!
