tweed Fishing Report

went out to tweed this morning, cloudy skies and a bit chilly at 14 degrees. caught a couple of flathead, around 50cm each. used a 1/4 oz jig head with a soft plastic swimbait, seemed to do the trick. the wind wasn’t too bad, only about 14 km/h, so it was nice not getting blown around. i was out there from sunrise, around 6:35, till about 1pm. the bite was decent in the shallows near the mangroves. had a couple of great runs but lost a few at the boat. overall, good day out on the water, can’t wait to go back!
