south west Fishing Report

had a fantastic day out at the Swan River today, perfect sunny weather, a lil windy tho. got there just after sunrise, around 7:30am. used my trusty old shimano rod with a soft plastic lure, reckon it was a 3 inch shrimp color. the bream were biting like crazy! i pulled in 5 of em, the biggest one was about 30cm. my mate Mike only caught 2 lol, he was a bit jealous. nothing beats that feeling when they hit the line, man! overall great vibes and the river's absolutely stunning this time of year. can't wait to go back tomorrow, maybe try for some flathead next time!
