south coast Fishing Report

went fishing today at the south coast near Sydney, what a day! the sun was shining bright, and the weather was perfect, about 13 degrees. we arrived just after sunrise, around 7am, and set up with some light gear - 10lb line and my trusty shimano rod. didn't take long to get our first bites, a few whiting and a solid flathead! kept at it for a few hours, battling a little wind but it was manageable. ended up with 6 fish total, all released back to the water. even saw a dolphin swimming by, super cool! overall, just a great day out on the water with mates. planning to go again next weekend, can't wait!
