lake eucumbene Fishing Report

another rainy day, but I went out anyway. didn’t catch much, but did see some big ones swim by. used my new rod and reel combo, feeling good about it. got soaked but got a picture with a beautiful view of the lake. always love being here, rain or shine!

chilly day at the lake, only 7 degrees! caught a few tiny perch, nothing special, but hey, fish is fish. used my favorite jigs and they just weren’t hungry today or something. still had fun just chillin' by the water. can’t wait for warmer days!

went out today and it was raining on and off. managed to catch a small rainbow trout, about 800g, on a worm. not much action, but it was nice to get out there. got soaked but that’s fishing for ya! gonna try again when the weather’s better.

cloudy and a bit cold but still went fishing. I didn’t catch anything, but a mate got a nice 1kg trout on a lure. we were using some old gear, honestly just for fun. had some laughs even if the fish didn't wanna play. maybe next time!

partly cloudy day out on the lake, wind picked up a bit which made it interesting. caught a couple of smaller lake trout, around 500g. used a spinner and it worked alright. felt pretty good to be outdoors, but gotta say, it got chilly by the end of the day. still worth it!
