wolf river Fishing Report

heavy rain today on the river. wasn’t expecting much but wow, caught a 3lb smallmouth right away! they were biting good despite the rain. just had to adjust my technique a bit with the wind kicking up. crazy day!

overcast today but man, it was a good time! temp was like 19.5C, we got a few strikes on jigs and landed an awesome 6lb channel cat. wind was pretty strong tho, made casting a challenge. still worth it!

went out on 5/13, super nice day. maybe a lil rain later but it was warm and the fish were biting! caught a few walleye while trolling a crankbait. even had a moment where a fish chased my lure right to the boat. thrilling!

sunny day at the river! felt nice at 13C, caught a massive 5lb bass on a topwater lure. got the adrenaline rush for sure! saw a few other anglers and everyone seemed to be having good luck. perfect day!

went to wolf river with my buddies today, cloudy skies but it warmed up to around 10C. we caught a handful of crappie, all on jigs. the wind picked up a bit later, but we were able to hold our spots. great day overall!
