willard bay Fishing Report

the sunshine returned! headed out to willard bay and caught 7 nice crappie, kept 4 for dinner. used a small jig and they were biting like crazy! perfect end to my fishing day, loved it!

didn't think fishing would be good in cloudy weather, but I got 2 nice catfish today! used some stink bait I made myself. it was chilly but they bite pretty good. can't wait for the next trip!

a bit overcast today but we still managed to catch a few fish. biggest walleye was around 6lbs! had to work for em tho, wind was crazy at times. but hey, that’s what makes it fun!

fishing was on point today! sunny skies and warm temps. landed 5 bass over 4lbs using a topwater lure. they were all over it in the morning! ended up staying till sunset, it was glorious

went out yesterday, patchy rain messed with us but I caught a nice little bass. wind was kinda strong but had fun casting with my new rod. bait was old school worms, they always work! gonna try again this week
