west point lake Fishing Report

more rain today, but we hit the lake anyway. ended up with 6 catfish! my buddy brought some stinky bait and it worked wonders. can’t let a little rain stop the fishing spirit, right?

headed out in the overcast weather today. caught a bunch of smaller perch but nothing big. using some crankbaits, they weren’t huge but had fun reeling them in. still a peaceful day on the lake.

finally got a sunny day to fish! landed a good 5 lb largemouth, biggest of the year so far 🎣 used a buzzbait and it was on fire. just chilling by the water was awesome too. can't beat days like this!

heavy rain was a bummer today but we still had fun out there! only caught 1 bass but the company was great. gear was soaked but the laughs made it worth it! next time we’ll plan better tho.

went out again today, patchy rain made it kinda tricky but I got lucky. 4 smallmouth bass and a nice catfish! using my favorite spinner, they were hungry. gotta love the thrill of the chase!
