truckee river Fishing Report

overcast day, but still made the best of it! caught 4 smaller fish, nothing over 12 inches tho. tried some different lures but they weren’t biting much. still love being out there, the river's got a peace to it. gonna keep trying!

mixed weather out but had a blast at the river! caught 2 nice size trout, wind was strong but i managed just fine. switched between a spinner and some flies, caught the big one on a black nymph! excited to go back soon, maybe try for some bigger ones.

totally awesome day! sunny and warm, the fish were biting like crazy. landed 5 trout, all over 15 inches. used my favorite brown woolly bugger and it was a hit! the river was alive today, great vibes all around.

what a fantastic day on the Truckee! sunny and warm, couldn't ask for more. caught 3 rainbows, 1 was a solid 20 inches! used a streamer fly and it was hitting left and right. stayed till sunset and the view was unbelievable too.

partly cloudy day out on the river, caught 2 smaller rainbows about 12 inches. used a light tackle with some powerbait. weather was a bit windy but not too bad. saw some nice caddis flies fluttering around, might try some dry flies next time.
