texas gulf coast Fishing Report

well, the rain really hit hard today. we only got a couple of bites but nothing kept. still made the best of it with my buddies, telling stories n stuff. next time I’m bringing my heavy gear for sure!

another rainy day fishing trip, threw a net and got plenty of bait but couldn’t get the big ones today. caught some small ones, tho! wind was chill but still fun to be out there. just gotta keep fishing!

overcast day but we went for it! got a few small snapper and one keeper. fished with my dad, we always have a blast, even if the fish ain’t biting much. used some cut bait and just chilled, nice vibes.

went out in the rain again for some fun. caught a nice 22 inch trout, released it tho. had my new baitcaster, it worked like a charm. wind picked up a bit but we made it work, you know? always worth the fish.

hit up the bay on a partly cloudy day. got 3 specks and missed a few more. all on a soft plastic jig, that watermelon color really popped! water was kinda cool but it felt nice out there. can’t wait for the next trip!
