rogue river michigan Fishing Report

back to fishing today! didn’t expect much with cloudy skies, but got 5 nice fish! all around 2 lbs. used a mix of jigs and crankbaits, they loved it! rogue river really came through today, what a surprise. can’t wait to come back!

overcast day on the rogue, but the fish were still playin. got 3 decent river trout, caught 'em on small spinners. water was colder than I thought, but the thrill of the catch warmed me up! love this river, always a great escape

finally a nice warm day! part cloudy and got the boat out early. slayed the bass! caught 8 in a few hours, biggest was about 4 lbs! used a topwater frog and they went crazy for it. perfect conditions, didn’t wanna leave!

tried to get some fishing in despite the rain. not gonna lie, it was a rough day. only caught 1 small pike, but hey, it beat staying inside! was using a yellow spinner, but those fish were just not biting! better luck next time, right?

cloudy day on rogue river, temp was nice tho. landed 4 nice channel cats, biggest was almost 6 lbs! went with stink bait and it was on fire. even had a lil tug-of-war with one, good times! gotta love it
