little red river Fishing Report

went fishing may 26, had some light rain and thunder which was kinda cool. caught a few small catfish, nothing huge but it was exciting. used stink bait, which worked pretty well even with the weather!

little bit of clouds on may 23, still caught a nice bunch of panfish. water was comfy warm at 21C. i used a bobber with nightcrawlers, super effective! had a great afternoon on the river, just chillin.

partly cloudy on may 17, perfect for fishing! we got out early, brought the boat and everything. landed 5 good sized bass, biggest was around 4 lbs! used topwater lures, they were hitting like crazy. best day in a while!

heavy rain on may 6 made it tough but we still tried to fish. only managed to snag a couple small mouths, but man it was exciting when it rained hard! couldn’t keep the gear dry but it was a wild time haha!

not much luck on may 4, overcast again and colder than i thought. caught a couple small perch but that was it. used my trusty crankbait, but maybe i shoulda switched it up. oh well, at least the scenery was nice.
