lake ontario Fishing Report

man what a slippery day! rain was brutal but i caught 5 trout, biggest was nearly 4 lbs. got a bit muddy while setting up but worth it. used some powerbait and fished slow. never underestimate a rainy day!

back at it again in the rain! got soaked but caught some nice bass, about 3 lbs each. used a green crankbait near the shore. the weather didn't stop us, we had a blast! thank god for rain gear!

partly cloudy but man was it windy today! went out with my buddy, not much action. only caught a couple of perch, like 1 lb each. used live bait, thought the wind would help us, nope... just cold!

hit the lake while it was pouring, like who does that? but guess what, i got lucky! hooked a nice 6 lb walleye on a jig, just under the surface. the rain made it tough but seeing that fish made my day!

had a bit of a mixed bag today. it was raining on and off, but i managed to land 3 lake trout, biggest was 8 lbs. used a downrigger with spoons at about 30 feet. kinda chilly but the bites were worth it!
