lake murray oklahoma Fishing Report

what a stormy day! heavy rain made it tough, but i still managed to catch a few small crappie. water was muddy but they bit on a chartreuse jig. ended up soaked but still had fun, can’t keep me off the water!

wild day on the lake, thundery showers made it interesting. but i pulled in a monster 6 lb largemouth! used a topwater frog and it was epic. adrenaline was pumping! definitely gonna hit this spot again soon.

rainy day but i went anyway, overcast skies and cool temps. caught a few smaller catfish, nothing over 2 lbs. had to work hard for each bite. used my usual blood bait but may try something different next time.

partly cloudy and warm today! took the kayak out and landed 3 nice bass, 2-4 lbs. saw a lot of action around structure. used a green plastic worm, they were hungry! great day on the water, even met some friendly folks.

today was overcast and windy, didn’t expect much. but to my surprise i caught a big ol' 5 lb bass on a buzzbait. it was a fight! got soaked from the splashes but worth every drop. lake was quiet otherwise, just me and the fish.
