lake georgetown Fishing Report

last day out here at georgetown was overcast again. pulled 4 bass, biggest maybe 4 lbs. threw a spinnerbait around the downed trees, they were hiding good. lotta fun but the rain started again at the end. still a solid day!

cloudy conditions but still great fishing! got there around sunrise, little windy but nothing crazy. used a topwater lure and had some nice hits, caught a couple of 2lb bass. love the thrill of the chase! can’t wait to go back.

another day at georgetown, more patchy rain. used a crankbait today and man did it work! pulled out 3 nice smallmouths, biggest was around 3.5 lbs. not a ton of wind but enough to make it fun. weather didn’t stop me this time!

went out again to lake georgetown, little bit of patchy rain, but it was warm. caught a solid 5lb largemouth, felt like a beast! used a frog lure in the weeds, those slaps are sooo exciting. also got a couple smaller ones. great day!

overcast skies today, felt kinda lazy but decided to go out anyway. hooked into a couple of nice trout, around 2-3 lbs. was using a soft plastic worm. the bite was slow at first but picked up after 11am. glad i went out!
