lake anna Fishing Report

had an awesome fishing trip today at lake anna. overcast again but perfect for fishing! caught a bunch of smallies, like 10 or so, all on topwater lures. love that sound when they hit! hope to go again soon!

man it was HOT today! overcast but 25 degrees, caught 7 fish at lake anna, mostly large mouth! used my favorite crankbait, had a blast and lost a big one at the boat. sad face.

what a day! heavy rain rolled through while we were out fishing but we still got lucky. hooked a couple decent bass on a spinnerbait. soaked but happy, can’t beat nature!

went to lake anna yesterday, it was cloudy but cool. didn’t catch much, just a couple small sunfish, but we had a picnic and it was all good. sometimes just bein out is enough ya know?

fished under overcast skies today, lake was super calm. took out my new spinning rod and caught 5 bass! biggest one was almost 4 lbs! caught em all on a watermelon worm. feelin pumped!
