horseshoe lake il Fishing Report

another overcast day, but i was hopeful. caught a few nice panfish on worms. they were biting decent, nothing huge but it was fun. just love chillin by the lake and watching the water. all good vibes.

misty morning, tough conditions. only got one nibble all day. managed to snag a small catfish tho, maybe 2 lbs. threw everything at em, but just wasn’t happening. better luck next time, i guess!

partly cloudy today, a bit chilly. caught a nice pike with a spinner bait, about 3 lbs. felt great to be out there even if the wind was a bit much. just wish the bite was better, only got the one but hey, better than nothing!

cloudy day at the lake but caught some decent fish. only got 2 bass but they were decent size, around 2 lbs each. used a green worm which worked pretty well. wind picked up toward the end but it was a chill day overall.

fished throughout the day at horseshoe, weather was better than expected. overcast but warm enough. got a nice 4 lb bass on a crankbait, took a few tries to find em. caught a couple smaller ones too. overall a good day!
