grand lake st marys Fishing Report

finally a sunny day! went out in the afternoon, wind was chill but manageable. caught 4 nice bass, biggest was about 5 lbs using a buzzbait near the shallows. amazing how they snapped after the rain days, guess they were finally hungry!

another wet day out here, but i just can’t stay away. caught a couple of perch, nothing huge but fun to reel in. using my bobber setup with worms, they were biting slow but steady. hope it clears up soon tho, ready for some sunny days!

braved the storms today at grand lake. no luck at all, just a lot of rain and high winds. packed up early and went for coffee instead. guess some days you just gotta accept the skunk. better luck next time!

the weather was rough today, 14 degrees and wind was no joke. but i still managed to catch a decent pike, about 3.5lbs. used a topwater popper and it got their attention. felt pretty good to hook a fish in such lousy conditions.

overcast day at grand lake st marys, was chilly too. tried some bass fishing near the reeds, got 2 nice ones, around 4lbs each. threw a crankbait that i haven't used in a while, and it worked wonders. sometimes the cloudy weather just hits right ya know?
