grand lake colorado Fishing Report

a lil rain in the air but that didn’t stop me! caught my limit of 5 trout, all around 12-15 inches. they were biting on everything, guess they were hungry! decided to try my new flies today, totally worth it. great day!

sunny finally! had a slow start but then hooked a nice 6lb rainbow trout. used a bobber rig. it was so good to fish without the rain for once! everyone seemed to be in a good mood today! sunsets are so beautiful here...

another wet day, like why?! but had a lucky break, landed a big ol' catfish! fought for like 15 mins! also saw a few other guys reel in some smaller ones too. gear used: nightcrawlers on the bottom. gonna check the weather before going again

ugh, rain again! but we went anyway, gotta love the dedication. caught a few small trout. they were kinda hidden from the storm, but they showed up after the heaviest rain. used my favorite fly rod. fishing is all about patience, right?

partly cloudy and a perfect day to fish! I threw on my trusty topwater and bam, got a couple nice bass! one was a solid 4 lbs! they were really active today, jumping outta the water! can't wait to get back out there.
