georgetown lake montana Fishing Report

hit the lake again on the 17th, another overcast day but managed to land 3 nice trout. they were lurking near the shore. weather was cool but at least no rain! brought my spinning reel and it paid off.

tried my luck on the 16th with the patchy rain, got skunked sadly. was out for hours, but saw some other folks catching. guess it wasn't my day! fished with a crankbait mainly.

fishing on may 15 was a challenge with the rain. caught just one little guy but it was a decent fight. used a worm and bobber setup, but think the rain scared off most fish.

wow, rain on the 14th made it tough out there. still managed to pull in 2 smallmouth bass, they were biting really slow. had to be patient, but what a thrill when they hit! got soaked tho.

may 11 was a bit drizzly but we went anyway. got 5 nice perch, they loved that yellow jig! rain made it kinda fun in a way, just us and nature you know?
