columbia river Fishing Report

last day on the river was overcast and a bit cooler at 11.4°C. didn’t catch much but got a nice bite from this huge trout, like 6lbs! used a spinner and it was just an awesome fight. never wanna leave this place, already planning my next trip!

woke up to rain again, but decided to brave the weather! it was only 10.4°C and super gloomy. caught a small sturgeon, nothing big but it was thrilling. gotta say, fishing in the rain has its own kinda charm I guess... just need good waterproof gear!

we managed to fish a little bit this morning despite the patchy rain. water temps were cold at 12.1°C but still managed to hook a few bass on a buzz bait. caught one nice one close to 4lbs. was fun to be out there even in the rain!

wow, what a wet day today! went to the river in the moderate rain and got soaked. it was around 12.3°C and I still caught a decent sized catfish. tried out some new tackle and it worked. not a great day for overall numbers but the fight made it worth it.

rainy day on the columbia, but that didn't stop us! we headed out early, patchy rain but warm at 15.5°C. caught some nice salmon, had some intense moments when they were jumping outta the water. used my favorite buzz bait, was epic fishing!
