cape cod bay Fishing Report

went out on foggy morning, couldn't see much but it was kinda cool. caught a bunch of small blues, nothing huge but still fun. using a light tackle setup, they were biting! fog made it kinda eerie but nice to just be on the water.

fished on a cloudy day, not much action but did see some whales. had a blast anyway with friends! used a simple bottom rig for cod but nada. the scenery was beautiful tho, overcast skies and calm waters made for a good chill day. maybe next time!

fished this morn'n, patchy rain but the fish were somewhat cooperative! caught a couple of nice tautog near the rocks. had my new Penn reel - worked like a charm. temp was decent, felt good to be out there even with a little rain here and there.

another rainy day but managed to get out. we caught a couple sea bass, nothing big tho. just using some squid on a drop rig. not my best trip but at least I got to relax by the water, even if the rain was pouring down. might try again tomorrow.

man, it was cold out there this mornin at the bay. only 8.7 degrees! couldn't find much, just a couple small mackerel. wind was really blowing too, made it tough. ugh! I honestly shoulda stayed in bed, but whatever, it's fishing right.
