canyon lake Fishing Report

overcast again, got a few more bass today, biggest was around 5lbs. used my favorite texas rig. not much action early, but as the sun set they started biting more. loved the vibe out there, great day with friends!

hot day with patchy rain, but went out at sunrise. caught a bunch of smaller fish, a few nice sunfish too. using a bobber rig with worms. didn’t get any big ones but had a good time relaxing out there!

went fishing on a cloudy day, perfect for some action. caught a few bass around 4lbs, they were hitting my crankbaits like crazy. still overcast later but the fish kept biting. can’t complain, good times with my pals!

today was a weird day! rained on and off but i landed a monster 8 lb bass! could hardly believe it when it hit my topwater frog. chased it down thru some weeds, but it was worth the fight! use a 7ft rod, nothing like the thrill of it!

fished canyon lake this morning, rain was coming down pretty hard! we managed to pull out some decent crappie, like 8-10 inches. used a jig on a light rod. got soaked but the fish were hungry for sure. worth every drop!
