beaver lake Fishing Report

rained pretty hard today but still went out. caught one decent channel cat and lost a big one right at the boat. my buddy got soaked tho, lol. but we had a blast, can’t wait to head back!

cloudy day at beaver lake but man did the fish bite! used a topwater lure and got a bunch of strikes. hooked into some nice ones. ended the day with a full cooler! cloudy days are good days!

fished during another rain shower, this time got a 5lb bass! it was crazy windy but i used my heavier line to handle it. caught him on a buzzbait. made braving the weather worth it!

went to the lake again today, skies are still gloomy. i had a few nibbles but only got a small trout. it was chillin under some cover. nice temps though, can’t complain too much! next time will be better for sure.

another rainy day at beaver lake. i swear i did more dodging raindrops than fishing, lol. still managed to catch a good bass on a crankbait right before the downpour. love the thrill of it tho!
